The City of Burlington is inviting residents to help shape the future of their community by joining the Community Panel. This volunteer opportunity allows Burlington residents to apply, choose the City topics they care about most and be ready to give feedback.

Community Panel Engagement by Project

The Community Panel has been called upon numerous times since its start in September 2024. Some City projects that have engaged the Community Panel include:

Community Panel sessions are offered online and/or in person, during the daytime and evening hours. Sessions typically last 1.5 hours. Most sessions are run as focus groups with guided questions for open discussion to help inform project direction and decision-making. Other formats include working groups and engagement sessions.

Who can apply?

  • Burlington residents, business owners, or property owners

  • Anyone aged 14 years of age and over and people of all genders, cultures, identities, and abilities

  1. Share your ideas when called upon (online and in-person options available)

  1. Participate when your schedule allows
