From time to time, the City updates its by-laws to reflect the community’s changing needs.
With the City’s new By-law Compliance department being established in 2022/2023, we are now able to dedicate more comprehensive oversight of all bylaws. We routinely assess bylaw effectiveness and consider whether to recommend rescinding, updating or dedicating more education efforts towards City by-laws.
