The City of Burlington is renovating Tom Thomson Public School playground. Tell us what kinds of playground equipment you’d
like to see at the park.Invite your family to take the survey, too. Everyone is different so each family member can fill out the survey.
Input from the survey will be used to design a final concept of the playground.

The survey is open now until Sept. 22. Construction is expected to begin in 2024.

    Tom Thomson Playground renewal survey

    We are looking for families to help design the playground at Tom Thomson Public School. Please complete the survey and tell us what features you would like to see in the new playground as well as suggestions for creating inclusive play opportunities.  Please remember to involve the kids in your home and have fun completing the survey.

     

    Please note the following features that will be assumed for the new playground:   

    • new safety surface will be engineered wood fibre
    • perimeter curbs and features outside playground space will remain
    • replacement will be one playground structure with play opportunities for children from 18 months -12 years of age (rather than 2 separate structures for junior and senior play)

     

    The survey will be open until 11:59 p.m. September 22, 2023
