Check out where Triplexes, Fourplexes and Low-Rise Apartments may be allowed

The draft New Residential Zoning Bylaw has new information! It describes where triplexes, fourplexes and low-rise apartment buildings may be allowed in some places in Burlington’s neighbourhood areas.

If your lot fronts onto a major street like Plains Road, New Street, Lakeshore Road or Guelph Line and is outside of the proposed Low-Rise Neighbourhood 7 zone of the draft New Residential Zoning Bylaw, you may be allowed to build a triplex or a fourplex. If your lot fronts a major street and is also within the proposed Low-Rise Neighbourhood 8 zone, you may be allowed to build a low-rise apartment building.

How can I see if my property might be zoned for a triplex, fourplex or low-rise apartment?
