A Neighbourhood Connector is a resident who makes connections between neighbours and strives to make it easier for neighbours to connect, share and build relationships.

The goal of this page is to help create a network of Neighbourhood Connectors who can connect, engage and help each other develop their neighbourhoods.


What is the role of a Neighbourhood Connector?

  • Connect neighbours and help build relationships
  • Plan at least one neighbourhood gathering/event each year
  • Support other local gatherings and events in your neighbourhood
  • Promote & support neighbourhood initiatives
  • Share important information to neighbours and answer any questions
  • Promote Neighbourhood Connector program to

    Thank you for your question and for sharing your feedback. Planning for Phase 2 is still being finalized. Food service options, including the potential for a café or similar amenity, are among the ideas being considered as part of the next phase. While no final decisions have been made at this time, we recognize the value that such a space could bring for residents, students, and visitors. We appreciate all community input as we continue planning and will share updates on this page as they become available.

    You can view information about the Love My Neighbourhood program including what expenses are eligible, where you can host and event ideas. We would also be happy to set up a call or meeting to answer and questions and help guide you through the process.
