This summer, with the FIFA World Cup coming to North American and Canada, Love My Neighbourhood is evolving into Soccer in My Neighbourhood, bringing Burlington residents together through a shared love of soccer & to celebrate different cultures around the world.

  • Host a local watch party
  • Run a family soccer tournament at a local park
  • Share different cultures with your neighbours

Canada Celebrates

Burlington will host a FIFA World Cup 2026 Canada Celebrates event at Spencer Smith Park on Thursday, July 9. Featuring live match viewings, football-themed activations, cultural programming, music, food, and moments of national pride. More details to come.
