  • Helsinki to Home: Happiest and Healthiest Community

    The Happiest and Healthiest Community Workshop 

    You are invited to join us for the Happiest and Healthiest Community workshop. Please complete this registration by July 2, 2025: 

    • July 10,  
    • noon to 4 p.m.  
    • Ron Joyce Centre, DeGroote School of Business, 4350 South Service Rd. Grand Hall 
    • Lunch will be provided from noon to 1 p.m.  
    • Participation is free 

    This workshop is a unique opportunity for elected officials, regional and municipal staff, and key partners to come together and shape a healthier and happier life for everyone in Burlington. Insights from a recent educational trip to Helsinki, Finland, along with current Burlington data, will together with your insights be an input to Burlington’s strategic planning process. 

    The session aims to inspire action toward creating healthier communities by celebrating incremental progress and supporting collaboration among key partners.  This collective effort will help guide the development of Burlington’s strategic plan.
