Thank You for Joining Us - Greening the Crosstown Trail Public Meeting
Thank you to everyone who joined us on March 25 at the Mountainside Recreation Centre for the public meeting on the Crosstown Trail Meadow Project. It was a full house, and we truly appreciate the community’s interest and engagement in this exciting initiative.
Attendees brought forward many thoughtful questions and ideas about how the meadow will be established, maintained, and supported over time. Your feedback is invaluable and will help guide the next steps in the planning process to ensure this project reflects the needs and priorities of the community, and as we work to attain the remaining outstanding approvals from Burlington Hydro and Infrastructure Ontario.

We look forward to continuing this journey with you as we work to transform the Crosstown Trail between Guelph Line and Fisher Avenue into a vibrant, low-lying meadow habitat that enhances biodiversity, supports pollinators, and enriches the natural beauty of our shared spaces.
Stay tuned for future updates as ecological assessments continue and planning progresses.
