Earth Day is April 22, but the call to protect the planet extends year-round. This spring, residents are invited to take part in a Community Tree Planting Event at Brant Hills Park on Saturday, April 25.
Open to Burlington residents, students, community groups and local businesses, the event offers an opportunity to take collective action on climate change while helping to green the city. Participants will help plant trees that support local biodiversity, enhance natural spaces and contribute to climate resilience in the community.
The event is hosted by BurlingtonGreen and City of Burlington forestry staff, with support from the Rotary Club of Burlington Central.
