Pet Boarding Engagement

In March, the City gathered feedback on pet boarding services in Burlington to assess their usage within the community. Pet boarding allows owners to leave their pets, including dogs, cats, and other animals, in the care of a boarding facility or pet sitter while they are away. The input will help us better understand how these services are utilized locally.

The feedback collected will help inform Council’s discussions on whether pet boarding should be licensed in Burlington and what types of regulations, if any, may be beneficial to the community. The input will contribute to future decision-making but does not determine any specific outcomes at this stage.
