The City of Burlington is in the early planning stages for the renewal of the west side of Sherwood Forest Park. We're updating and improving park amenities, including adding a new playground, cricket pitch and splash pad, and we want to hear from residents to provide valuable input during the design process.
The project builds on recommendations from the City’s 2024Live & Play Plan.
Community feedback will help inform the design of the new splash pad and playground through multiple phases of engagement.
There will be several opportunities to participate, including surveys, pop-ups, open houses and meetings with community groups.
We encourage everyone who uses the park to share their ideas and perspectives.
We will share what we heard during each phase of engagement and explain how feedback wasused to inform the design.
Further, more fulsome engagement is planned for in early 2027.
