Fall Consultation Updates

This summer and fall, Community Planning staff and the team of heritage consultants have been busy with public engagement on the review of 27 properties for potential heritage designations, including attending the following meetings/events:

  • June 2024 – Study kick-off open house with property owners
  • August 2024 – Heritage Week’s annual Heritage Fair
  • September 2024 – The City’s annual Food for Feedback event at Central Park
  • October 2024 – Heritage Burlington Advisory Committee meeting regarding the first batch of Cultural Heritage Evaluation Reports

The next steps include presenting the findings and recommendations to Committee of the Whole and Council for approval in Winter 2024/2025.
