2026 Festival & Event Data
The City of Burlington is collecting information from event organizers to better understand and share the impact festivals and events have on our community.
Festivals and events contribute to Burlington in many ways — bringing people together, supporting local businesses, creating employment and volunteer opportunities, attracting visitors, and contributing to a vibrant city. Collecting consistent information each year will help us better understand and demonstrate these contributions.
The information collected will help the City:
Demonstrate the economic, social and community contributions of festivals and events in Burlington;
Inform future policy, programs and process improvements;
Better understand the opportunities and challenges facing event organizers; and
Support future municipal funding, grant and investment opportunities.
The results will help inform the City’s 2026 Festival & Event Year in Review Report to Burlington City Council and establish baseline information that can be tracked in future years.
