Burlington Community Engagement Charter Workbook
The City of Burlington is committed to hearing from you. We want you to share your ideas with us when and where it is convenient for you. Your input will be used to help refresh the Burlington Community Engagement Charter.
About this workbook
In April 2013, Burlington City Council approved the first Burlington Community Engagement Charter. The Charter was created by residents with support from City staff. It is an agreement between and among Burlington City Council and the community concerning resident engagement with City government and establishes the commitments, responsibilities, and fundamental concepts of this relationship.
In 2023, the City of Burlington’s Community Engagement Charter is turning 10 years old. In order to ensure the City keeps up with the changing needs and wants of the growing Burlington community, we are looking for feedback on how the Community Engagement Charter can be refreshed to reflect how the City of Burlington is evolving.
