Why are you updating the Burlington Transit Strategic Plan now?
Our last Strategic Plan covered 2020 to 25 so it’s time to update the goal. We’ve made some great strides and learned a lot during the pandemic but we know we have more work to do. The City is growing, which means more homes, more people and more traffic. Transit can offer a solution, if we do it right.
This plan for the next five years should make transit easier to use, reach more places and be more reliable. This will make sure Burlington Transit is more efficient and will be a reliable choice for getting around Burlington.
