Ward Boundary Structure going to Council for approval

At the May 12 Committee of the Whole meeting, Burlington City Council approved some minor changes to the City’s current ward boundary structure. A final decision about ward boundaries will be made at the regular meeting of Council on Tuesday, May 20, scheduled to begin at 9:30 a.m.

Minor changes to Burlington’s ward boundaries approved at Committee of the Whole, include:

  • The community in north Tyandaga will move from Ward 1 to Ward 3
  • The Leighland community will move from Ward 2 to Ward 1
  • The Palmer community will move from Ward 4 to Ward 3
  • The Maple Beachway community will move from Ward 1 to Ward 2
