Burlington Transit is looking for feedback from the public to help the city work towards a better transit system. Transit riders and non-riders are invited to attend two upcoming open house sessions taking place in March and April to help shape the future of Burlington’s transit system.
March Drop-In Open Houses – Future Planning
The March drop-in sessions will focus on the future vision for Burlington Transit. As the city’s population grows, the development of the transit system will play an important role in ensuring people can move around the city easily. Share input on:
· Frequency of service
· Peak service hours
· Key travel destinations
· Transit connections in the GTHA.
Monday, March 18 - 3 to 6 p.m., City Hall 426 Brant St.
Wednesday, March 20 – 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Central Arena, 519 Drury Ln
Thursday, March 21 – 6 to 9 p.m., Tansley Woods, 1996 Itabashi Way
April Drop-In Open Houses – Proposed September 2019 Changes
The April drop-in sessions will provide an opportunity to share feedback on transit changes proposed for September 2019, including changes to routes and the relocation of all transit stops at the Burlington GO station to the south side.
