Each year, the City of Burlington reviews our annual budget to make sure there are funds to support City operations and deliver the programs and services needed to keep the high quality of life we enjoy in our community.

The process to review and approve the City of Burlington’s 2027 budget will begin in December 2026, after Burlington’s 2026 municipal election is complete and the new City Council is sworn in.

Engagement opportunities to tell us about your priorities for the 2027 budget will begin in September 2026 with an online survey and the annual Food for Feedback event on Sept. 12.
