We’re gathering feedback throughout the 2026 festival and event season to to better understand what residents value, identify opportunities for improvement, and explore ideas for future festivals and events.
While the City directly produces several events each year, many of Burlington's festivals and celebrations are organized by community groups, cultural organizations, charities and event producers. Events such as Lakeshore Music & Arts Festival, Ribfest, Latin Fest, Moon in June, Why not Wine, Lakeside A La Carte and many others all contribute to Burlington's vibrant festival and event landscape.

Personal information being collected in this survey is collected under the authority of the Municipal Act, 2001, S.O. 2001, c. 25 and disclosure of responses will be governed by the Municipal Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act, R.S.O. 1990, c. M.56. Personal information will be used to inform the Festivals and Events Strategy of the diverse backgrounds of survey participants and ensure inclusive representation. Your personal information is confidential and survey responses will only be reported in a de-identified, aggregate manner. They may be included in a corporate dashboard or Council report to highlight the range of perspectives gathered.
